The Spartanburg County Public Libraries are seeking a Student Intern to assist the Archives Department. This internship program is designed to allow students to work in a public library setting and gain hands-on experience and valuable skills.
HOURS: 5 - 10 hours per week, not to exceed a total of 40 hours per month

DRESS CODE: Clothing must be clean and presentable. You must wear pants and a shirt with no graphics unless you wear a library t-shirt.
EDUCATION: Must have completed high school and enrolled in a semester of college.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Complete an inventory of a photo negative collection
Aid in the digitization of the negatives using a scanner
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Organized, punctual, and able to adhere to a schedule
Willing to take direction, learn quickly, and work independently
Ability to work quickly and accurately without close supervision
Familiarity with Excel
